Camp Arrowhead cuts ribbon on Jane Clifton Ashford Center 

The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce coordinated a ribbon-cutting celebration for the Jane Clifton Ashford Center at Camp Arrowhead.

The newest building and event venue on the 110-acre property comprises a 10,000-square-foot, timber-frame summer camp dining hall and community space. Namesake Jane Clifton Ashford is remembered as a kind-hearted, faithful, community-minded individual who brought warmth and sunshine to everyone she knew.

Outside the summer camp season, the building is available to rent for meetings, retreats, conferences, events and weddings. Groups may work with outside caterers or in-house food service. Rental fees help Camp Arrowhead meet its goal of providing opportunities to underserved populations, both for summer camp and off-season programs. Easily configurable to meet each group’s individual needs, the Jane Clifton Ashford Center is a unique facility in southern Delaware.
